Business Mouse is the machine gun-wielding owner of Impulse Investments, a surprisingly successful big city outfit. With his assistants Martin and Jean, 'Dave' Business Mouse unthinkingly throws money at any business venture that walks in the door. Created by Modern Toss for Channel 4, Business Mouse went on to win an RTS award for Best Online Production in 2012! Over time, it has acculmulated over 100,000 web hits. Created by Modern Toss for Channel 4 Comedy Blaps, The Adventures Of Robin Of Essex puts a hilarious contemporary spin on the classic Robin Hood tale. "The Brand New Set of Feathers" pits Robin Hood and King John in a battle of vanity as they try to win Maid Marions attention at an archery contest. I was asked by Cutlass TV and Modern Toss to direct animation, leading a small team of animators to animate, composite and edit the finished piece from start to finish.
Created by Sweetweets for Yahoo UK, Yes Ma'am is a hilarious six episode online series that follows 'Her Majesty The Queen' as she attempts to deal with incompetent politicians and frustrated royal family members, all the while looking forward to a well earned Gin & Tonic! Leading a team of veteran and junior animators at Cutlass Productions, I directed animation on all 6 episodes, as well as designing artwork, layouts and characters for the show.
Broadcast on Channel 4 and created by the anarchic Brighton based cartoonists Modern Toss, this funny ident sees Modern Toss' popular character the 'Drive-By Abuser' give Channel 4 a piece of his mind as he passes by their London offices on his iconic red scooter. Executives Place brings together Executives and Executive Search Consultants into one exclusive social network. I was asked by Cutlass TV and Executives Place to direct two animations that explained who their service is for and how it works. "Message for Executives" explains to potential candidates how they can benefit from using Executives Place through fun animation and simple, vibrant artwork.
